Where possible, 6-9 months prior to your wedding. You will be assigned a tailor who will take care of you throughout the whole process. If you have less time to prepare, that shouldn't be a problem. However, get in touch to make sure we can make it work for you if you don't have very long!

Made to measure, bespoke suits are currently running on a 5-month lead time, excluding your initial appointment. If this is your prefered suit option, get in touch with us as soon as possible for us to advise on when to book your consultation.

At your appointment, we will confirm your preferences, the date and location of your wedding and look at some initial styles you like.

Bringing with you any images for inspiration or a Pinterest board of ideas is a great help! We will take some notes and your professional measurements.

Your initial appointment would be for yourself, plus up to two guests of your choice. Most customers opt to bring their fiance, parent, sibling or best man, for example.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to bring your full wedding party to the first consultation. A further appointment will be arranged for measurements and fittings by your tailor.

We will organise a measurements appointment for the rest of your groomsmen and wedding party to attend that suits you. This takes approximately 15 minutes per person. 

We can also, on certain occasions, book a video meeting for any of the party that don't live in the country or are unable to travel to the North East. 

A few weeks prior to your event, we will arrange a final fittings appointment where you and your party can try on your full outfits, including both hire and purchase suits. This will take approximately 1 hour.

Any alterations will be carried out in-house after your fitting appointments and your wedding suits will be available to collect:

• For purchase suits, this can be as early as 4 weeks before your wedding date.

• For hire, approximately 2 weeks before your event. We advise all suits are collected together.

Yes, matching children's suits are available as a hire option only. size ranges from 1-12 years (Price is reflective of suit size, not child's age). Please see selected starred styles in the downloadable suit hire catalogue. 

Please note: You donotneed to be hiring your fully wedding party outfits in order to use the children's hire service.

Yes, we can accommodate female tailoring but there are limited suit options. Due to tailoring, we would be unable to offer suit hire. However, Buy and Bespoke options are available.

Please take into consideration: As we are a gentlemen’s tailor, all our tailors are currently male and would be carrying out all measurement and fitting appointments.
